Our Partnership Agreement
Before we start engine checks, we make sure the services, responsibilities, pricing and practical arrangements for working together are clear.
How Our Partnership Agreement Is Built
We do not want to send you a generic agreement that has little connection to the way your business actually works. We begin with the information you provide about your business and use that information to establish the scope we will be working from together.
Your New Client Scope of Works
This is where you tell us about your business, the systems you use, the bookkeeping you need, your payroll and BAS requirements and the areas where you would like our support.
We review the information you have provided and use it to confirm the services, responsibilities and boundaries of our engagement.
If anything needs clarification, we may contact you before our Partnership Agreement is prepared.
🥕 Complete My Scope of WorksOur Partnership Agreement
Once we have reviewed your Scope of Works, we prepare our Partnership Agreement so there is a clear written record of what we have agreed to do and how we will work together.
Depending on the engagement, this may include the agreed services, hourly rates or limits, fixed fees, responsibilities, approvals, access requirements and the practical terms that apply to our work together.
The completed agreement will be emailed directly to you for review and digital signing.
Please read it before signing and let us know if anything does not reflect what you believe we have agreed together.
Haven’t Completed Your Scope of Works Yet?
Please complete this first. We need the information in your Scope of Works before we can properly review the services you require and prepare our Partnership Agreement around the work we have agreed to undertake together.
From Scope to Signature
Once your Scope of Works has been submitted, the process is straightforward.
You Complete the Scope
Tell us about your business and the support you believe you need.
We Review It
We check your Scope of Works and make sure the services, responsibilities and pricing approach are clear.
We Prepare Our Agreement
The agreed scope is used to prepare our Partnership Agreement for the work we will undertake together.
We Email It to You
You receive our Partnership Agreement directly by email so you can review it and sign it digitally.
Sometimes an Email Agreement Is All We Need
If you are engaging us only for training or education and you will continue completing your own bookkeeping, we may not need to prepare the same full Partnership Agreement we use for an ongoing bookkeeping or BAS Agent engagement.
In those circumstances, we may confirm our agreed training scope, session structure, applicable pricing and any relevant conditions directly with you by email.
Your written acceptance of that email gives both of us a clear record of what we have agreed before the training begins.
Prefer a formal Partnership Agreement?
If you would prefer not to confirm a training-only engagement by email, please let us know before the work begins and we can discuss the appropriate agreement with you.
What If Our Agreed Scope Changes Later?
Businesses change, systems change and sometimes we discover something after work begins that was not visible when our original scope was prepared.
We will talk to you before additional work proceeds.
If material work is identified outside our agreed scope, we will explain what has changed, what additional work may be required and any pricing implications before that additional work proceeds. The aim is to keep our agreement clear as the work develops.
Please Ask Before You Sign
If anything in your Scope of Works, pricing or our Partnership Agreement does not reflect what you thought we had agreed, please contact us. We would much rather clarify it together before the agreement is signed than leave either side unsure about the journey ahead.
